When installing, both sides of the lamp should be pushed forward at the same time. I love the look that this gave the ass of my car. Very easy to install. Bright when you hit the brakes and dark when you want it dark. I have not seen a color yet that the darker lights do not look better on, of course that is just my personal preference.
