Still no hope in sight. Being told by Vland that replacements won’t fix my issue. Nextgenspeed is telling me to use my OEM tail lights until Vland does something.

Still malfunction daily, waited two months(owned for three), for replacements from the manufacturer. Manufacturer sends only driver side taillight, swapped in the new taillight, still malfunctioning. Now to wait another two months….
Next-Gen Speed –
Replacements are only sent for the side requested that has any issues. If two lights are having the same issue, it usually is a harness issue or software issue, as a brand new Tail Light should not have the same exact repeated issue.
I recommend cycling through the modes as best as you can to see if that will help reset the tail lights as these are a “mutli-mode” style, and hopefully that will fix them.
We just needed photos of Driver Side Tail Light plugged into the Right side to pinpoint the issue moving forward, and will try our best to speed up VLAND on the second set if needed. I’m really hoping we can reset the lights and the light control system to see if that helps, to avoid waiting on a replacement moving forward.
We’re car guys ourselves and know how things are, and are truly sorry for the experience thus far. We helped VLAND release these first thing and we’ve only had a handful go bad after 2 years and hope we can take care of this quick for you.

Both passenger and driver tail lights malfunction after one month of owner ship, been waiting another month for replacements from the manufacturer. Haven’t received hardly any feed back from nextgen. Most likely will be trying to return for different brand.

For what you pay you definitely get a very good set of taillights. Nothing cheap about the lights whatsoever. Lights are better then factory by a mile. However, Instructions are very unclear when changing the modes but when you figure it out it’s really easy. Someone in the reviews has already given instructions so check that out, and apparently nextgenspeed is working on their own manual so that’s just amazing customer service. Making a manual for a product that isn’t theirs. Also shipping time took a bit of time. I’m not sure who’s end that’s on whether it’s vlands or next gen speed but my order came in a couple days late and took a couple weeks on top of that. Other then that it’s a great mod that gives an amazing look. Totally worth the price.

The lights are brighter than stock lights and look great. The install took about an hour or less and the only “difficult” part was running the wire up the driver’s side to the third brake light. The shipping was very quick

Shipped very quickly and they look great. Complete install only took around an hour or less, and the only tricky part was running the wire up through the driver’s side to the third brake light. Lights are brighter than stock and have full functionality. No complaints.

I really like the appearance of these lights, I like the fact I can change modes… Installing them was easy, remove Spare tire cover, remove rear section of trunk, and then move carpet out of the way… The tricky part is getting the wire from the tail lights up to the third brake light to get the brake light to work properly… It is not particularly difficult, just a pain.
Some observations: 1) tail lights look pink in the daylight, Brake lights look fine. It has to do with the clear nature of the plastic and the Red LED gets washed out… Night time they look fine. 2) I get radio noise on FM stations when pressing the brake pedal, It happens on weak FM stations, strong stations are fine, I also get some noise when the tail lights are on, not as bad as the brake lights however… I am not sure if it is from how I ran the wire from the CHSML as I ran the wire down the Right side of the car… I am thinking of rewiring it down the left side to see if it helps any, but not taken the time, as the radio amp is on the RH side…
If I could get rid of the radio noise I would give it an easy 4 stars, If the tail lights were red, I would give it 5…

I just finished installing the tail lights and they appear to be constructed very well. The instruction booklet was slightly confusing. The first half is in Chinese and the second half is in English. BUT, the programming portion of the instructions are only in Chinese on the first inside page. There is a video on YouTube that shows you how to program the tail lights. I will type the instructions here:
*Ensure headlight switch is in the left/off position
Step 1:After installation, enter the car and without your foot on the gas, press the ignition. Press OK on the steering wheel to make all the prompts disappear on the display.
Step two: Press and hold the brake. Don’t let off during the entire process.
Step three: Turn the headlight switch from the first position(off) to the second position four times in rapid succession, ending back in the off position.
Step four: wait about two seconds then repeat step three corresponding with the number in the back half of the booklet the taillights come with.
Example: for USDM mode, you will turn from position 1-2, three times, ending in the off position(1).
Step Five: turn on your hazards for more than 3 seconds, then off.
Step Six: release brake
**If the above doesn’t work, turn everything off and try again or refer to the video on YouTube as I did. The video is in Chinese/English but just in case you found yourself here first, I decided to post this text.

Shipped fast and the lights work awesome. The instructions were kinda not specific but it was easy to figure out after looking the wires over and thinking about it. All works well and the lights look great!
