Charger RGB Flow vs Triple-Beam DRL Headlights: Buyer’s Comparison
2015–24 Charger Headlights: RGB Flow vs Triple-Beam DRL
The front of a 2015–2024 Dodge Charger is mostly headlight, so swapping them changes how the whole car looks, day and night. Most owners end up choosing between two directions: RGB Flow headlights that change color and run chase patterns from an app or remote, or triple-beam projector headlights with a fixed white or amber DRL that look modern without the light show.
This guide compares the five Charger headlight listings we carry, from a $484.99 triple-beam set to a fully custom AlphaRex Nova build. Every price, build time, and fitment note below comes from the live product pages on October 7, 2026. Prices and stock change, so check the product page before you order.

Quick answer
- Want color, show modes, and app control? Go RGB Flow. The VLAND RGB Flow Triple Beam pairs triple-beam projectors with a Bluetooth-controlled RGB Flow DRL. Our in-house Next-Gen Flow build adds optional halo rings and demon eyes.
- Want a modern projector look with a fixed DRL? Go with the non-RGB VLAND Triple Beam DRL headlights. The DRL comes in white or amber, and it’s the least expensive set here.
- Want the most custom build we offer? The AlphaRex Nova pre-built is made to order, and it takes the longest.
- Whatever you choose: confirm whether your Charger has halogen or HID headlight connections before you order. The fitment notes are not the same on every listing.
A. VLAND RGB Flow Triple Beam DRL headlights

This is the “do both” option. You get the triple-beam LED projector layout from the VLAND housing, plus an RGB Flow DRL with full color control, multi-color flow patterns, strobe modes, and show modes from a smartphone app over Bluetooth. The listing says no bulbs are required because the LED system is integrated.
- Price checked 10/7/26: $1,250.00 (marked down from $1,600.00).
- Options shown on the page: Flow RGB DRL, or Flow RGB DRL + Demon Eye.
- Build time: the page lists a 3–4 week build time. You also have to agree to the build time at checkout, because the set is made to order.
- Fitment as listed: engineered for 2015–2024 Chargers. It fits models with halogen connections. The page says HID/Xenon models work, but the plastic tab on the headlight plug has to be shaved or dremeled down.
- Install: professional installation is highly recommended, and installation instructions are not included.
Pick this one if you want the triple-beam projector look in daily driving and color effects for meets and shows, all in one housing.
B. VLAND Triple Beam DRL headlights (non-RGB)

If you want your Charger to look newer without a color-changing DRL, start here. The listing describes triple Bi-LED projectors, an LED DRL available in white or amber “to suit regulations and personal style,” and an optional amber sequential turn signal.
- Price checked 10/7/26: $484.99 (marked down from $600.00).
- Shipping as listed: free domestic shipping to the lower 48. Orders ship UPS/FedEx Ground within 2 business days, and transit takes 3–7 days.
- Fitment as listed: the fitment line reads 2015–2023 Charger and “just fit factory halogen lamps, not for factory Xenon model.” The notes lower on the same page say HID/Xenon models work if the plug tab is shaved down.
Heads up: the title on this listing says 2015–24, but the fitment line says 2015–2023, and the two halogen/HID notes contradict each other. If you have a 2024 or an HID car, call us before you order so we can confirm fitment.
C. Next-Gen Flow pre-built headlights (built in Canton, MI)

Next-Gen Flow is our own pre-built headlight. We take brand-new Charger housings and install diffused Flow-Series DRL boards in them, with optional diffused halo rings and demon eyes. The listing promises an OEM-like finish with “no exposed LEDs, wiring, or poor putty sealing job.” This is a different style from the VLAND sets: the stock housing shape with a diffused color DRL, instead of a triple-beam projector face.
- Price checked 10/7/26: $1,000.00–$1,275.00 depending on options. The base build with the RF handheld remote is $1,000.00, the Bluetooth app version starts at $1,100.00, and Bluetooth with demon eyes and halo rings is $1,275.00.
- Remote: you choose an RF handheld remote or Bluetooth app control. The page notes that all pre-built headlights need a remote to work.
- Build/ship as listed: “3–4 Week Build Time || 3–7 Day Shipping UPS/FedEx Ground.”
- Fitment as listed: 2015–2024 Charger RT/SXT/GT/SRT/Hellcat/WideBody/Jailbreak, HID and Halogen models.
- Warranty: the page lists a 1-year warranty on self-installed products.
Want the color effects with the factory headlight shape and halos? This is the one.
D. AlphaRex Nova pre-built headlights

The Nova build is the top of our Charger headlight lineup. We start with an AlphaRex Nova Series housing and build it in-house to your order.
- Price checked 10/7/26: $2,550.00–$2,990.00 depending on options. No sale price was posted.
- Options on the page: Black or Alpha Black housing, an HID converter for HID-housing cars (“Include Converter For HID Housings?”), and demon eyes (4 pairs) with or without an extra Bluetooth Pro remote.
- Build time as listed: “approximately 8–10 weeks from the time your order is placed.” Email support@nextgenspeed.com with your order number for an update.
- Fitment as listed: the description says 2015–2023 Charger.
- Warranty: the page lists a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects and moisture on pre-built items.
The description covers several controllers (handheld, Bluetooth 1.0, Bluetooth Pro, BlueGhozt). It also lists Flow Series as a LED type, but the selectable options on the live page right now are the RBW LED type. Confirm which LED type and controller come with your build before you order.
Budget option: prebuilt RGB LED projector headlights

If you want a color-changing DRL for less money, the 2015–24 Prebuilt RGB LED Projector Headlights (Color Changing/Bluetooth) were $514.99 (marked down from $600.00) when we checked. You control the RGB DRL with the HappyLighting phone app, and it can sync to music. The set has amber LED turn signals and projector high and low beams. Unlike the VLAND sets, it requires 9005 bulbs, same as OEM. The page lists halogen-connection fitment (HID/Xenon with the plug tab shaved down), and it ships within 2 business days with 3–7 day transit.

Fitment, install, and legality notes
- Halogen vs HID: most of these listings fit halogen-connector Chargers directly. For HID cars, several pages say the plastic tab on the headlight plug needs to be shaved down. The Nova has an HID converter option, and the Next-Gen Flow lists both HID and halogen models. Don’t go past what the product page says. If you’re not sure which you have, send us a photo of your stock headlight and plug.
- Year range: go by the fitment line, not the title. Some titles say 2015–24 while the fitment line on the same page says 2015–2023.
- Install: the VLAND and budget RGB listings recommend professional installation and don’t include instructions. We install lighting at our Canton, MI shop. Call to schedule.
- Colored DRLs: laws on colored front lighting vary by state, and we can’t tell you a color DRL is street-legal everywhere. Check your local rules. White or amber is the safe daily setting, and the color modes are best saved for shows and meets.

FAQ
What are RGB Flow headlights on a Dodge Charger?
They’re headlights with a color-changing daytime running light that can also run “flow” (chasing) patterns. You control them from a Bluetooth app or a remote. On our listings, that includes the VLAND RGB Flow Triple Beam, the in-house Next-Gen Flow build, and the AlphaRex Nova pre-built.
What is the difference between RGB Flow and triple-beam DRL Charger headlights?
“Triple-beam” describes the projector layout, and “RGB Flow” describes the DRL. The non-RGB VLAND Triple Beam has triple Bi-LED projectors with a fixed white or amber DRL. The VLAND RGB Flow Triple Beam uses the same triple-beam projector look and adds a color-changing, app-controlled Flow DRL.
Will aftermarket Charger headlights fit halogen and HID models?
It depends on the listing. Most fit halogen connections directly, and several pages say HID/Xenon cars work if the plastic tab on the headlight plug is shaved down. The Next-Gen Flow lists both HID and halogen models, and the Nova offers an HID converter. Check the fitment line on the page, or call us.
Do Charger RGB headlights work with a Bluetooth app?
Yes. The VLAND RGB Flow Triple Beam uses Bluetooth app control. The Next-Gen Flow lets you choose Bluetooth or an RF handheld remote. The budget prebuilt RGB set uses the HappyLighting app, and the Nova page describes Bluetooth controller options.
Are triple-beam Charger headlights brighter than stock?
We don’t publish lumen figures. The listing describes triple Bi-LED projectors with a wide low beam and a high beam, but we haven’t measured output against your stock headlights, so we won’t put a number on it. If light output is your main goal, call us and we’ll walk you through the options.
How long do pre-built Charger Flow headlights take to ship?
They’re made to order. The Next-Gen Flow lists a 3–4 week build time plus 3–7 day UPS/FedEx Ground shipping. The VLAND RGB Flow lists a 3–4 week build, and the AlphaRex Nova lists about 8–10 weeks. The non-RGB VLAND and the budget RGB set ship within 2 business days.
Do I need professional installation?
Several listings say professional installation is highly recommended and that instructions are not included. HID cars can also need the plug tab shaved down. If you’d rather not take the front apart yourself, we install lighting at our Canton, MI shop.
Can I get demon eyes or halo rings with Charger RGB Flow?
Yes, on some builds. The Next-Gen Flow has demon eye and halo ring options, the VLAND RGB Flow has a “Flow RGB DRL + Demon Eye” option, and the Nova offers 4-pair demon eyes. For the lower fogs, add the Fog Light Flowseries Halo Kit.
